The Felipe Family Visits Sirena del Mar

When you're looking to take an adventure away from home for the Christmas holidays, you want to pick a location the entire family can enjoy. Agnes Felipe and her family chose Cabo San Lucas, staying at Sirena del Mar in Cabo. Together, they had tons of fun, enjoying the warm, sunny Mexican weather, the exciting activities, and quality time as a family.

The entire Felipe family came to stay with us, including Agnes, her husband Nardo, daughter Mia, son Brandon, and son’s girlfriend Sidra. They arrived on Christmas Eve and stayed for an entire week of fun, leaving on New Year’s Eve. They didn't waste any time, starting their festivities in true fiesta style.

“The week started with a Christmas Day brunch at The Office on the Beach and a spicy jalapeño margarita.”

Things were just as fun back at the resort with all the great amenities.

“[We] enjoyed the access to the private beach and borrowed the umbrellas, chairs and snorkels. Also the swim up bar was great.”

Agnes and her family also had great fun exploring the surrounding area.

“In Cabo San Lucas a water taxi ride gave us a closer view of El Arco. We had a car and travelled to La Paz and enjoyed a fabulous seafood meal at Playa El Tecolote, took surf lessons in Los Cerritos, visited the charming town of Todos Santos and posed in front of the infamous Hotel California.”

Surfing in Cabo San Lucas near Sirena del Mar — A little beach time was a perfect way to chase away the winter chill.

“We ate at Jazmin’s in San Jose del Cabo before strolling through the nighttime Art Walk. We also made it out to Los Tortugueras to catch the sunset release of the turtle hatchlings, which was definitely a highlight of the week.”

The Felipe family loved their time down in Mexico, from the local sights to their comfortable, luxurious rooms at Sirena del Mar.

“We would definitely return to this property during the winter months! The location between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas makes it a perfect area to be able to explore Los Cabos to its fullest. Our room had a magnificent ocean view to capture the sunset every night. The beach access was a plus. And the staff were great!”
